Ant McPartlin’s £31m divorce from Lisa finalised -meaning he’s free to marry girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett
ANT McPartlin is finally single and free to wed again after his bitter two-year and £31million divorce, we can reveal.
A decree absolute was granted this week formally ending his 12-year marriage to Lisa Armstrong.
It means Britain’s Got Talent host Ant, 44, can marry his “rock” and former PA Anne-Marie Corbett, also 44.
A source said: “It’s been an extremely difficult road with a lot of heartache and unpleasantness, but it’s finally done. It’s over.
“Ant’s been desperate to start the next chapter of his life and at least now he and Anne-Marie can plan for the future. It won’t be long before they are married.”
ITV star Ant, who has faced painkiller addiction and booze battles, and Strictly make-up artist Lisa, 44, had been at loggerheads since he announced their split in January 2018.
She was granted a decree nisi over his adultery with separated mum-of-two Anne-Marie which he admitted on the basis that the relationship began after he and Lisa split.
There were fall-outs over the division of assets and the custody of their chocolate labrador, Hurley but the deadlock was broken this January. Lisa got their £6million former home as part of the deal.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Ant said of his new partner: “She’s been my rock. She’s a beautiful soul . . . she is the most wonderful true woman.”
