Emmerdale spoiler: Dawn questioned by social services after Ted and Carol call them in behind her back

EMMERDALE's Dawn Taylor is left devastated tonight when Lucas' social worker turns up in the village.

Lucas' foster parents Ted and Carol decided to call in social services behind Dawn's back after their tense confrontation with Will in The Woolpack last week.

Will had blasted the couple after they questioned his daughter's parenting skills and even warned them to stay away from her and Lucas.

But as Dawn insists to the social worker that she is grateful of Ted and Carol's help, Will becomes increasingly defensive and even accuses the pair of hatching a plot to take Lucas back.

Much to Dawn's dismay, the unimpressed social worker then makes a series notes about Will's wayward behaviour.

Later, with the social worker and Ted and Carol gone, Dawn turns on Will and shouts at him for causing so much trouble.

But things are set to get even worse for the struggling mum.

Dawn is also set to learn about the frightening moment Lucas discovered Will's hidden gun.

Last month, her blonde-haired boy found the weapon and, in seriously tense scenes, was eventually convinced to hand it over to Dawn's boyfriend Billy Fletcher.

Billy had kept the incident a secret from Dawn but, when the secret spills out, she is lost for words.

Dawn is also furious she wasn't told about the shocking moment with her son.

Could this see her turning against her family for good?
