Marc Warren is an English actor who was born March 20, 1967 in Northampton.

He has appeared in numerous theatre and television productions including the HBO mini-series, Band Of Brothers, Hustle, Count Dracula and The Good Wife.

He was in a relationship with glamour model Abigail Titmuss from 2008-2009 but has remained tight-lipped on any further relationships.

According to , he has an estimated fortune of $4 million (£3.2 million).

Who does Marc play in Van Der Valk?

The ITV reboot of the original Dutch detective crime series has Marc in the lead role as detective Piet Van Der Valk for a second season.

Viewers see the detective investigate a series of murders and high-profile cases.

The series returned to ITV in 2020, with Marc taking over the role of the eponymous detective, which was played in the seventies by Barry Foster.

Marc has stated that he used to watch the original version at his grandparents' home during the seventies and loved the original theme tune.

He said: "I always remember the theme tune. It was Number 1 in 1973 pop pickers! The Simon Park Orchestra."

A third season has been confirmed.

What else has Marc starred in?

One of the most recognisable faces from TV, Marc has had numerous roles that have thrown him into the spotlight.

He has more than 80 acting credits to his name but he is probably most recognised for his longstanding role in Hustle from 2004-2012 and in TV series Mad Dogs from 2011-2013.

His acting credits also included the popular HBO series Band Of Brothers and the gripping American legal drama, The Good Wife.

In 2000 he received a Royal Television Society Award for his role in the ITV production of Oliver Twist.

He played Thomas Rankin in Grange Hill in 1992, appeared in TV series The Vice and was cast as Dominic Foy in State Of Play.

In 2019 he played Samuel Parker in Beecham House and also starred as Tom in TV series Flack.
