GOOD Morning Britain's fed-up viewers took to social media to slam the show after it suffered a series of technical issues today.

Hosts Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard were forced to stop and start several interviews this morning - with fans questioning what was wrong with their connection.

Throughout today's programme, Susanna and Ben started video-link interviews only for the guests to be inaudible, with sound cutting out throughout.

Susanna had to tell several interviewees that they would restart the connection in hope of better luck next time - but two hours into GMB the issue was still going on.

Taking to Twitter, one disgruntled viewer wrote: "#GMB Sort out your internet connections, three interviews and three cock-ups, the problem obviously at your end, embarrassing TV!"

Another shared: "Is the #GMB internet connection a piece of string and two yogurt pots? Every interview suffering from bandwidth problems this morning."

A third moaned: "Why is everyone’s WiFi so awful?! I haven’t seen an interview yet not be disrupted."

Yesterday, Susanna and Ben were left confused when their chat with Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer abruptly ended due to technical issues.

The politician was on the breakfast show to discuss whether it is safe for the British public to return to work.

However, the video link that he was appearing on abruptly froze partway through the chat, forcing the interview to end.

Susanna and Ben looked confused as the cameras cut back to them in the studio, with Ben remarking: "It looks like we may have just lost the link to Sir Keir, have we managed to put a bit more money in the meter? Someone's pulled the plug."

There was then an awkward silence before Susanna exclaimed: "That was weird, wasn't it... it just froze there."

Ben replied: "You know when your wifi drops out, it's that eternal frustration."

His co-host argued back: "But it normally glitches before it freezes?"

The pair then asked Dr Hilary Jones for his thoughts on Keir's comments as they tried to get back in contact with the MP to no avail.
