PIERS Morgan tears into BBC rival Dan Walker calling him "embarrassing" and ";ludicrous" after sly dig at the Good Morning Britain star.
The presenters were at loggerheads yesterday after Dominic Raab agreed to appear on BBC Breakfast but refused an interview with GMB.
After the interview, Dan posted a tweet thanking viewers for the "kind comments" and said it was possible to ask "difficult questions without shouting, interrupting, telling everyone you're brilliant at holding them to account".
Piers, believing his rival host was throwing a dig at his style, hit back - and a row ensued on Twitter yesterday.
However, Dan clarified the tweet today, writing: "Just reading this back and I think it sounds a bit self-congratulatory... which was never my intention.
"We are all trying to do a good job. Have a good one."
Then Piers refused to let things go, hitting back with: "Oh please, that was exactly your intention. Own your ludicrousness My Walker, this is embarrassing."
The fight initially kicked off when Piers quoted Dan's post-interview with Dominic Raab tweet.
He wrote: "The reason they all go on your show Dan is because you're known as the softest touch in world political interviewing...
"or as the Guardian called you recently 'LaLa from the Telletubbies... most at home asking unthreatening lifestyle questions.'"
Dan hit back at his rival with: "Morning. Raab did every outlet apart from GMB. I wonder why.
"I'll make sure I watch some of your old stuff to get some tips on how to take no prisoners and not be a 'soft-touch'."
He then shared a photo of Piers handing President Donald Trump an Arsenal top with the president's name on it.
This is just the latest clash in a long-standing rivalry between the two breakfast presenters.
In November last year it was revealed GMB was up 74,000 viewers and four share points when compared to the episode that aired on the same day a year before.

Meanwhile, BBC Breakfast, which still had more viewers overall, lost 201,000 viewers when compared against the 2018 episode on the same day and was 3.2 share points down.
Delighted with the news, Piers tweeted a picture of him kissing a bottle of wine and tagged Dan Walker.
He said on Tuesday night: "Hi mate, @mrdanwalker – fancy guzzling this with me to celebrate closest-ever rating gap between @GMB & @BBCBreakfast?"
He carried on his rant on Wednesday's episode of GMB, sharing a picture of Dan and the cartoon Desperate Dan on screen.
Piers told viewers that his rival is at the helm of a "tanking BBC breakfast show".
