Love Island’s Megan Barton-Hanson rakes in over £250,000 in a year after split with Wes Nelson
MEGAN Barton-Hanson has proved to be one of the big business successes from the 2018 Love Island series - despite coming fourth with former villa flame Wes Nelson.
While many former Islanders have faded away – Megan earned over £250,000 from her business MBH Productions Ltd in its first year, according to her accounts.
She formed her company in August 2018 and her accounts show current assets of £270,360.
Following her villa departure, Megan, 26, went on to sign a hefty endorsement deal with clothing retailer Pretty Little Thing and also earned money through sponsored social media posts.
She later appeared on Celebs Go Dating in a bid to find her perfect partner.
Megan previously confessed to making "loads of money" from her '"stripper past" — having lived in an exclusive St Katherine’s Dock pad and drove a Range Rover Evoque before moving back to her hometown of Southend.
Last month, the reality star revealed she's planning a huge giveaway for hard-working NHS staff - of sex toys.
She explained her scheme to hand doctors and nurses X-rated products as a thank-you for their hard work.
She told New magazine: "I had so many messages from nurses when I did a giveaway and I had so many messages from partners of nurses.
"So, it would be a great idea to team up with and do a giveaway for the NHS.

"It's such an awful time right now, but it's so inspiring and I'm so proud of how we've all come together and supported each other through this difficult time."
Megan is isolating with her parents and younger brother Kurtis at their Essex home in the wake of her split from on/off girlfriend Chelcee Grimes.
