Piers Morgan finally sees his son Spencer, 26, for the first time in three months as they socially distance in the park

PIERS Morgan reunited with son Spencer today in a park - after being told to "stay away".

The Good Morning Britain presenter celebrated the happy occassion with a photo of the pair social distancing outdoors.

He wrote alongside the picture on Instagram: "Nice to see you again son, albeit from 2 metres. #3MonthReunion"

Piers gave fans the thumbs up as fans commented in their droves over the cute reunion.

One said: "Awww I bet you missed your boy"

Another said: "So difficult not being able to give them a hug, takes some will power!"

Piers has been thrashing the government on Twitter and Good Morning Britain over the lack of clarity in Boris Johnson's new lockdown rules.

Following Johnson's public address, Piers voiced peoples' concerns as he took to Twitter and sought clarification on the lockdown changes.

He wrote: "I haven't seen two of my sons for 10 weeks. They live 10 minutes away, next to a large common.

"Am I allowed to go and see them, if I stay 2 metres away?

"The answer appears to be no, yet I can see 1000s of strangers a day in my local park if I stay 2m away."

Never one to miss out on a bit of banter with his dad, Spencer, 26, retweeted it and said: "No."

And Spencer erred on the side of caution as he added Piers "stay away".

It sparked many crying with laughter emojis and praise from his followers.

Piers later slammed Boris's plans, saying: "I can see thousands of strangers in the park but not my own sons".

Since then, he triggered another 51 complaints to Ofcom after his furious rant about lockdown on Monday's Good Morning Britain.

The host tore into professional footballers for flouting government rules after a string of front page incidents - the latest of which has seen Chelsea ace Callum Hudson-Odoi arrested on suspicion of rape.

Man City defender Kyle Walker was previously slammed for hosting a sex party with hookers at his mansion, while Jack Grealish crashed his car after spending the night at another party.

Discussing Hudson-Odoi's 4am row with a model at the weekend - before his arrest for suspicion of rape - Piers argued footballers are more likely to pass coronavirus through "women they invite back to their homes" than at training.

He fumed: "And the front page of The Sun has England footballer Callum Hudson-Odoi arrested yesterday allegedly with a woman he had allegedly met online, allegedly.

"That's going to be the problem with the Premier League if they try to bring it back.

"They won't be infecting each other in the training ground in secure environments, it'll be all the women they're inviting back to their homes.
