She told the other housewives: "I'm here to clear my name. This is a situation where I allowed my loyalty to a friend get too far.
"In the beginning, I thought I was just supporting a friend. She was the one who was showing me the most love, she had my back.
"And so she saw that I was starting to hang out with the ladies, I started establishing genuine friendships, that she wasn't in a position anymore to do."

She continued her statement while the other housewives, except Nene, listened: "She saw it as an opportunity to find out if anybody was talking s**t about her.
"At that time, I was 'Ok, that's innocent enough. You wanna find out if people talking s**t, I'm happy to tell you.'"
That's when - another friend of the show - asked if she was a "snitch."
Yovanna replied and told her: "Well, she's my good friend. So if somebody was talking smack, anybody would do that. But that's when things started to change."
Andy quickly put two and two together and asked if Nene had told her to record the conversation, to which Yovanna replied with an "absolutely."
Obviously, all the housewives were shocked when Yovanna revealed why she had done what she had done.

Andy further asked her about where her friendship with Nene stood.
He told her: "Yovanna, I know that you and Nene were great friends. Why would she want to be here?"

The online boutique owner simply told him: "Clearly, she's afraid of the truth."

The housewives spent the beginning of the season trying to figure out who had secretly recorded Cynthia talking about Nene "like a dog."
Although Nene has kept mum about the subject, Marlo came clean and said: "Yovanna, go ahead and tell these people what's going on."
This exchange implied that Nene and Marlo knew it was Yovanna who had made the recording and shared it with Nene - who had .
Nene responded: "Snake is not a nice word, so I wouldn't call her a snake. Is Yovanna with information? Yes."
