Teen Mom Jenelle Evans selling eyebrow kits leftover from last year’s launch after revealing she’s ‘back in business’
FORMER Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans is selling eyebrow kits left over from her launch last year after revealing she is “back in business,” The Sun can exclusively report.
’s public relations representative at the time, Johnny Donovan, claimed to The Sun that the products are from her September 2019 launch.
He said: “She bought so many units. She purchased 2,000 eyebrow kits. It's the same kits.
“They were left at a warehouse. She’s trying to get rid of them since she was stuck with a lot. I wish her luck!”
Johnny also believes the kits are at her house and that she is shipping them out on her own.
Jenelle confirmed to The Sun that the kits were sent to her home “not too long ago.”
She told The Sun: “I am selling them out of my home. I have a huge 40’ x 40’ building I am storing them in.
“I am really happy I can tell my customers that I am personally delivering them and including special ‘Thank You’ note.”
Her comment ended: “Since posting on social media I have received many orders and it has been keeping me very busy. I will continue to sell my products and no one is going to stop me!”
Jenelle, 28, posted a photo to her JE Cosmetics Instagram account on Wednesday sitting on boxes of eyebrow kits.
She captioned the photo: “FINALLY our shipment has arrived! After months of emails back and forth we are back in business!
“You can now order more eyebrow kits and I will include a handwritten note, just for you! More exciting products soon!”
The boxes also have a production date of 2019 in the photo.
And her fans caught on, as many speculated over social media that the kits were the same ones from the initial launch.
faced controversy when the universal eyebrow kits, which cost $40, were launched in September.
Customers who received the product complained of poor quality.
One customer wrote on Twitter: “The brow pencil completely snapped off within a minute of using it, no matter how short I made it, it would snap off. There was 1 inch of product in it to begin with, now there is none. Complete waste.”
Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant star Ashley Siren agreed to review the product, but later opted out because of a lack of color choices despite being “universal.”
She said on social media: “I will NOT be buying Jenelle’s brow kit cause it only comes in 1 color and none of them are dark enough for my brows. So, sorry guys.”
Then, two people who reviewed the product claimed small pieces of what appeared to be hair were found in the wax.
Johnny told The Sun that of the scandal: "It can happen if it’s left in the heat. The brush can get hot and can go in. It’s not her fault."
In October 2019, reported Jenelle was dropped by her manufacturer.
A source told the outlet: “XJ Beauty sent Jenelle a termination letter on September 19. It stated that XJ Beauty will no longer be involved or work with JE Cosmetics and Jenelle Evans.
“All of the inventory will be sent to her by October 19.”
Jenelle responded at the time: “Due to the issues with the other company we were working with, we have decided to cut ties. We are sorry for anyone not happy with their kits. We will be doing meet and greet/giveaways for the kits while coming up with new products.”
She also wrote: “Note to self: Do everything on your own. Be your own boss.
“Honestly the people that I thought was a great team… wasn’t. When I did this from the beginning, on my own, everything worked out better. I am now taking over my company and not letting anyone else.”

The makeup launch came months after her on-again husband, , shot and killed the family dog in April 2019 for nipping at their daughter Ensley, 3.
Jenelle was fired from in May 2019 over the shooting.
In October 2019, Jenelle split from her husband, accusing him of abuse in a restraining order request, and moved to with Ensley and her son Kaiser, 5, from a previous relationship.
She is also mom to son Jace, 10, who her mom Barbara has full custody over.
