KATE Garraway broke down in tears during last night's Clap For Carers fearing it will be the last weekly celebration of the NHS.
The 53-year-old star said that the nationwide movement has "been a source of weekly comfort" as her husband Derek Draper continues to fight for his life in a coma after being diagnosed with coronavirus two months ago.

Taking to her Instagram page last night, Kate shared a video of her two children banging on drums at 8pm - admitting that she is "trying to find new ways to stay strong".
The I'm a Celeb star said her family wanted to "go out in style" after the Clap For Carers founder said last night's clap - the 10th event - should be the final one.
Annemarie Plas, who came up with the idea, said it's time to move on and focus on improving conditions for key workers, but praised everyone who'd taken part.
FINAL CLAP?
Kate said the emotional weekly event has been "such a source of comfort" for her and her children while her husband remains in hospital.
She wrote: "Hear this might be the last clap for carers so Billy thought we should get the drums out to go out in style!
"Its been such a source of weekly comfort for them & me & I must admit I felt the tears come to think it’s coming to an end while our fear for Derek goes on.

"But even if we don’t clap next Thursday it won’t diminish my eternal thanks to all in the #NHS. They are keeping Derek alive & every one of them is fighting as hard as Derek is to give us the chance to be reunited.
"Hope has to keep us all going doesn’t it? I am having to find new ways of staying strong everyday for Darcey & Billy, as I know Derek would want me to.
"It’s not easy but when I think of how hard Derek is fighting & the bravery of all in the #NHS it helps."
EMOTIONAL CLAP
Kate added: "Thanks so much for all your messages... Standing together & learning from each other has to get us all through. #hope #love #clapthecarers"
The Good Morning Britain presenter was seen wiping away tears during the clap, before she embraced her 14-year-old daughter Darcey.
Darcey and 10-year-old Billy sat on the wall of their front garden as they banged on drums, with Kate waving bells to make as much noise as possible in a showcase of her support for carers.
Kate smiled as she filmed the weekly celebration on her mobile phone.
Derek, 52, has been in intensive care for two months after falling into a coma and becoming unresponsive having been diagnosed with COVID-19.
Last week, her GMB co-stars Ben Shephard and Charlotte Hawkins told how they are "praying" Derek "will pull through" as they updated viewers on his condition.
Ben previously revealed that Kate calls her husband in intensive care every night, but has "no idea" if he is able to hear her.
PRAYING FOR DEREK
Kate paid tribute to her children on social media after last week's Clap for Carers, writing: "I couldn’t be prouder of how she & Billy have coped with these past two horrific months for our family - always finding ways of lifting our spirits & staying strong even when they can see me wobbling.
"Its so wonderful to see little green shoots of hope that this dreadful disease is easing and that hopefully soon we might all be able to see each other again and hug our nearest and dearest.
"But the journey for me and my family seems to be far from over as everyday my heart sinks as I learn new & devastating ways this virus has more battles for Derek to fight.

"But he is still HERE & so there is still hope. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to anyone who will be affected by this, not just for the next few weeks but for the foreseeable future.
"That will be the case for many who have suffered from the disease, but also the front line workers who have been helping to treat the worst affected. The physical and mental scars will run deep and so we need to stick together far beyond the end of lockdown."
Derek, who married Kate in 2005, was taken to hospital on 30 March, where he tested positive for coronavirus - which has so far claimed the lives of more than 37,000 people across the UK.
