Ed Sheeran is brewing his own beer for the pub on the grounds of his £3.7m Suffolk estate in lockdown
MUSIC superstar Ed Sheeran is now also top of the hops — by brewing his own ale at home.
The Shape Of You singer has taken delivery of make-your-own craft beer kits, ready to be served at his own pub in the grounds of his £1.5million home.
A source told The Sun: “Ed loves his beer — especially his real ales and craft beers.
"He’s had a few kits delivered and has been having fun making his own drinks.
“They aren’t too bad but he doesn’t think any of the major breweries have got anything to worry about just yet.”
Ed, 29, converted an old barn into a private boozer on his Suffolk estate in 2017 and named it The Lancaster Lock, after 28-year-old wife Cherry Lancaster Seaborn’s middle name.
The pub has a full bar, a pizza oven and a barbecue area.
It is connected to the main house by a “secret underground tunnel”.
Last year, Ed won a planning battle to hang a 16ft high pub sign outside the barn.
