Wife of Megan Barton Hanson’s lover sticks by him after he claimed he was advising her on property when snogging in park

THE wife of Megan Barton Hanson's lover is sticking by him - after we revealed he was dating the Love Island star a year after tying the knot.

Megan, 26, today dumped wealthy property developer Harry Fenner, 30, after only discovering he was married when we approached her.

Yesterday we exclusively pictured the pair snogging in a Southend park after secretly dating for nearly four months.

But Charlotte, his distraught wife of 11 months, is standing by him — with Harry telling her it was a one-off mistake.

Harry told his gutted spouse he was only offering the reality star property advice when they were snapped.

A source said: “Megan was furious she had been lied to and told him where to stick it immediately when it came out.

“It was one of the first things she asked him when they first started chatting, whether he was single. And he insisted he was.

“As soon as she found out it had all been a giant lie, she got rid immediately.

"To say they’d only met in the park, on one occasion, is not true.

"They’ve been chatting for months and had met before.”

Grovelling Harry — a former judo talent once tipped to be a star of the London 2012 Olympics — managed to convince Charlotte it was a mistake.

He told her he was trying to help former stripper Megan with her property portfolio when a few drinks led to them snogging in front of shocked onlookers.

A source close to Harry added: “It was a sunny day and things got out of hand.

“He’s told Charlotte he’s made a silly mistake and begged her to forgive him, which she has.

“She doesn’t want to throw away their relationship but equally he’s not very popular in his household right now.”
