Aston Merrygold becomes a dad for the second time with fiancee Sarah Lou as she gives birth to baby Macaulay Shay
JLS singer Aston Merrygold and fiancée Sarah Lou have become parents for a second time.
The star announced the birth of Macaulay Shay Merrygold this afternoon on Instagram.
He wrote: "Welcome to the world baby boy 💙. Macaulay Shay Merrygold 12:52pm 5/6/2020."
Bandmate Oritse Williams commented: "Little boy born to an incredible father , an incredible mother @sarahlourichards and an incredible big brother in @graysonjaxmerrygold 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙 so so happy for you all bro xxxx."
While celeb pals Ashley Banjo, Alesha Dixon and Gorka Marquez all posted well wishes.
Pussycat Doll Kimberley Wyatt shared: "Oohhhhh!!!!!! Yay!!!! It’s a little boy!!! How beautiful!!! ♥️🙌🏼♥️ So happy for you guys!"
The couple confirmed they were expecting a second baby in December.
Macaulay's birth comes two years after the birth of son Grayson Jax.
Their pregnancy reveal video showed Aston and Sarah performing some impressive choreography to Happy by Pharrell Williams.
After the routine, their adorable two-year-old ran up and handed Aston the baby scan.
Grayson wore a jumper that read: "I'm going to be a super big brother."
Aston wrote on Instagram: "So we've got something to tell you, and the only way to do it is... 3 just became 4. (I really am the luckiest man alive!!!!!) love from the Merrygold family."
The former Strictly Come Dancing star met Sarah when she was a back-up dancer for JLS.
She is a member of the Sugar Free Street Dance.
In September 2017, they announced they were welcoming their first child Grayson in a much more low key fashion.
He shared a photo of the couple holding hands in a dining room, with an empty chair between them. A sign says "reserved".
Aston wrote: "On May 29th 2017 we found out that our lives were going to change forever!
"This secret has been so hard to keep, but I'm so excited to finally be able to share the news with everybody that me and my beautiful lady @sarahlourichards ds are going to be parents!!!!!!"
The X Factor star opened up about being a parent last year, telling the Belfast Telegraph: "We're trying to learn everything we can so we're more experienced about the stages next time around.
"Parenting was scary in those first few months but now we're really enjoying the ride. We're totally a team, so when Sarah's working I have Grayson and vice versa.
"Having another baby would be a massive change for Grayson and for us, and we'd like him to be an age when he can understand a little more what's going on so it's really positive for him."
