JONNY McPherson is known for playing unlucky in love Dr Liam Cavanagh in Emmerdale - a character who has experienced his fair share of drama in the ITV soap.
But it seems like the 38-year-old actor has a more successful record in love off-screen as he's reportedly in a secret relationship with co-star Natalie J Robb. So, what else do we know about the lovable soap doc?
Who is Emmerdale's Jonny McPherson?
Jonny is a 38-year-old English actor born in Kingston-Upon-Thames on January 4, 1982.
He trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
Jonny landed the role of GP Dr Charlie Cavanagh in ITV's Emmerdale in 2013 and continues to appear regularly in the soap.
He previously played some small bit part roles in Emmerdale before getting a lead character gig including a doctor who looked after Donna Windsor-Dingle in September 2008 while she recovered from a car crash and a nurse who was on duty when Jackson Walsh was injured by a train in October 2010.
Jonny has also appeared in TV movies Russia 1917: Countdown to Revolution, Night Owls and 'Til Death.
The 6'3" tall actor is a core ensemble member of London-based theatre company The Faction and in 2014 he played Hamlet in a sell-out run.
According to his profile on IMDB, Jonny is a qualified wine taster, highly skilled scuba diver, sings baritone and can speak French.

The Emmerdale pair sparked rumours they have been secretly dating after appearing together on a Zoom call to celebrate co-star Liam Fox’s birthday.
Actress Natalie J Robb, who plays Moira Dingle in the soap, appeared alongside Jonny for the virtual birthday party, sending fans into a frenzy.
Many went on to assume that the soap pair are isolating together during the coronavirus pandemic.
