MY BIG Fat Fabulous Life's Whitney Way Thore has had some bad luck in love with multiple partners cheating on her.
The reality TV star, 36, recently ended her engagement with Chase Severino after he admitted to her that he had gotten another woman pregnant after he cheated on her.
Chase Severino
Chase, 29, was introduced fans during season 7 after Whitney's friend, Ryan Andreas, introduced the two.
They quickly hit things off and even shocked fans when they got engaged in October 2019 and announced the news two months later.
However, their engagement only lasted seven months after he revealed to her that .
Both Whitney and Chase announced the news to their fans over social media.
Whitney, on the one hand, wrote: ";Chase and I are no longer engaged.
“After experiencing a lot of ups and downs and still living apart, Chase reconnected with a woman with whom he has had a long history. Chase recently told me this information and the fact that it had resulted in a pregnancy. Chase will be a father in October.”
She ended the caption: “I’m not interested in anything hateful being directed toward anyone. I would ask for privacy for all involved as we move on and focus on the future.”
As for Chase, he announced: "I don't even know where/how to start. I am very excited to announce I am expecting a child in the fall. Please see Whitney's post for details.
"I have nothing but love and respect for Whitney and our time together. Thank you for always supporting us.
";As we now go our separate ways, I ask for privacy for Whitney, myself, and the mother of my child who wishes to remain anonymous."
Despite the terrible news, many fans claimed that for her show.
One fan even went as far as claiming she had seen the two in real life and they were acting indifferent towards each other and even sat in different classes.
Lennie Alehat
Going back to the beginning of Whitney's career on TLC, fans were introduced to Lennie as her first boyfriend during the show.
He was introduced in season 2 and was on board until season 4 when they broke up. The couple even had a pregnancy scare.
The two dated for one year but broke up in 2016 following an alleged cheating scandal.
Despite their issues, the two have remained close friends to the point where Whitney defended Lennie after he was approached by MTV's Catfish.
Lennie was talking to a woman but would refuse to meet up with her or even get on FaceTime, so she called on the Catfish team to track him down.
It turned out that it was indeed him and they were finally able to make it official after she found him.
Following the episode, Whitney posted on : "Lennie wasn't for me, but he is a good person and has continued to support me even though we broke up 2.5 years ago."
Avi Lang
Avi Lang was not a series regular like Lennie and there was a dark reason behind it.
Following her breakup with Lennie, Whitney found love with Avi and they dated for six months - September 2016 to March 2017 - before she discovered that he was cheating on his fiance with the reality TV star.
Whitney explained she had ignored the red flags behind Avi not wanting to be on her show or him telling her to share pictures of the two of them on social media.
Avi's fiance, Nada Louis, found out about their relationship and reached out to the dancer on social media where she revealed the news to her.
Whitney also found out that he had relationships with "over 20 women" and they all came together to start a support group.
Surprisingly, Nada and Whitney developed a friendship following the scandal.
The failed romance was a major storyline in season 4 and Whitney late revealed that it was a tough situation to manage on TV.
She told in an interview: "I hid him from the producers and everybody because he didn't want to be on camera.
"[The relationship] was a lot more than it appears to be on TV."
However, fans also slammed the ballet dancer for using the other women for ratings.
Ryan Andreas
Fans of the show were introduced to personal trainer Ryan Andres during season 7 when Whitney introduced him as her business partner.
The two had actually met when they swiped right on each other on a dating app and proceeded to stay friends after one date.
Ryan and Whitney decided to come together and start No BS Active, where he would design 20-minute workouts and Whitney would join him in filming them.
The fitness enthusiast was actually the one who introduced Whitney to her future fiance, as the two had gone to college together.
Despite Whitney and Chase being his friends, Ryan has stood up for the reality TV star following the cheating scandal.
Buddy Bell
Buddy Bell is a series regular and is actually Whitney's best friend.
However, the two have never officially dated, but they did share a kiss and potentially explored a romance in the sixth season of the show.
"There really isn't a word for it, to be honest," she told of what it's like to kiss Buddy.
"When I kiss Buddy it's always weird. There's always a weirdness from being friends with him. But I think that sometimes people have a chemistry that's just there. I'm just gonna have to say, if I pick one word, I'm still gonna say weird."
Buddy's friendship with Whitney even caused some issues for Chase who claimed they were too close for his liking.
Despite Chase's jealousy, Buddy and Whitney remained friends and he was even there when her engagement ended.
She revealed her new living arrangements to PEOPLE following her breakup from Chase: "Luckily, Buddy has been with me for the last month.
"I still haven't left the house due to coronavirus, so he grocery shops and cooks and it's been great not to be physically alone during this time since I'm not able to see my family and other friends."
