REAL Housewives of Atlanta's Kandi Burruss showed off her acting props in her sexy new role on The Chi season 3 trailer.
Fans of the will know that the housewife's role in The Chi caused some friction between her and Todd Tucker.
, 44, posted on Instagram the latest trailer for the third season of the SHOWTIME show as she joins the cast in a recurring role.
The mother of three wrote alongside the trailer: "Only 10 days left until the premiere of Season 3 @shothechi!!!!
"I’m so excited! Set your DVR so that you don’t miss it."
In the trailer, character walks in looking like a bombshell in a salmon-colored dress and curls down her back.
The will be playing Roselyn Perry, who is described as "the estranged wife of Douda (Curtiss Cook), back at his side to influence his political agenda and to help herself."
Fans of the will know that Kandi's new acting role caused a rift between her and Todd, mainly because he was mad that she had to do a sex scene with another man.
Kandi later discovered that Todd wasn't so much angry about her sex scene but rather prioritizing work over her family.
The couple - who have been married for six years - ended up going to counseling and trying to work things out.
Todd - who worked as a line producer for RHOA when he started dating Kandi - even clarified during an appearance on Kandi's YouTube show, Speak On It why he was angry.
As the two discussed their televised fight, he told her: "I never changed my tune about the acting.
"That’s where you always miss it. You always missed the point. I never said I didn’t want you to do the acting, I never said I didn’t want you to do the sex scene," he claimed.
"I just said, when you come home for those two days to prioritize your family, not book luncheons and s**t that ain’t even making you no money."
He even pointed out Kandi's attitude during the episode: "Even in the scene, like, ‘Oh, you’re gonna make me cry, don’t mess up my makeup because I gotta go to this luncheon.'"
Kandi then agreed with her husband and said: "OK, that was bad. It was bad. I'm not going to try to defend that. It was bad.
"I hear what you’re saying, and there’s really no way that I can really defend what happened during this episode. You are correct."
She further explained that she had wanted to be supportive to her friends and fellow housewives.

Todd and Kandi got married back in 2014 after getting together in 2011.
Following their wedding, Todd and Kandi welcomed son Ace in 2016.
They then had daughter Blaze via surrogate in November 2019, which was televised in the last season of RHOA.
