RHOC’s Kelly Dodd claims she’s ‘experienced racism personally’ as a ‘woman of color’ after fan backlash for past remarks
REAL Housewives of Orange County's Kelly Dodd claimed she’s "experienced racism personally" as a "woman of color."
Her comments followed a fan blasting her for 2016 racially insensitive remarks.
A fan asked : "But like, do you truly believe that bc 'you're Mexican you can't be racist?'"
responded: "I've experienced racism personally... I'm a woman of color and love everyone!"
This exchange followed Kelly posting on Instagram: "I’m going to stop arguing with people on my social media!"
Along with the post, she wrote: "Don't argue with people on social media.
"Every classroom had a kid that ate paste. That's probably who you're arguing with.
Earlier this week former star said on Instagram for her insensitive comments about the pandemic and previous racist comments.
This followed a fan asking Tamra during an Instagram Q&A: "Do you think should be fired for her racist statements coming to light?"
Tamra, 52, replied: "Yes I do, that TMZ video is disgusting!"
In a 2016 TMZ clip, said she didn't "like" or "know any black guys" while being filmed outside The Nice Guy in Los Angeles.
After the clip was released, Kelly said: "I am truly embarrassed. There is no excuse for bad behavior or comments that offend anyone.
"That video does not represent who I really am and I apologize for acting irresponsibly."

"There should be zero tolerance at this point."
