Dog The Bounty Hunter’s daughter Lyssa posts with dad on one-year anniversary of mom Beth’s death
DOG The Bounty Hunter's daughter Lyssa Chapman has posted a bittersweet photo with her dad on social media, as they mark a year since the death of her stepmom Beth.
The reality star took the selfie and captioned it: "We made it thru today!"
The family gathered as they acknowledged the passing of their mom Beth who died on June 26, 2019 at the age of 51, after losing her battle to cancer.
Lyssa, 33, added to caption, voicing her support for her : "I love you Pops! @duanedogchapman."
She also posted pictures of her 10-year-old daughter, Madalynn Grace, who could be seen smiling while sitting on a paddle board in one of the shots.
While another showed her fiancee, Leiana Evensen, looking out onto the picturesque beach.
A snap of a flower arrangement was also added to the series of photos, showing some Birds of Paradise blooms placed on palm leaf.
Lyssa's sister Cecily, 27, had spoken about organizing a beach paddle out in her mom's memory.
Earlier in the week, Cecily posted on her Instagram that they planned to paddle out into the water at 5.30am before having a group prayer.
Cecily, who Dog, 67, adopted after he married Beth in 2006, wrote: "#ForTheLoveofBeth On June 26,2020 Cecily B Chapman will be hosting a 1 year remembrance of her beloved Mom Beth Chapman!
"The paddle out will begin at 5:30 pm at Waimanalo Beach. Prayer will take place on the beach and in the water. Bring your boards and flowers so we can remember Mrs. Dog the right way.”
She also admitted she was “feeling all kinds of emotions” on the one-year anniversary of her beloved mother Beth’s death.
