Busted! Leonardo DiCaprio is spotted leaving club with group of girls thanks to his rubbish disguise

LEONARDO DiCaprio may have recently won an Oscar for his acting prowess, but his disguise techniques leave little to be desired.

The Wolf of Wall Street star, 41, was spotted attempting to conceal his identity as he left a New York club this weekend, surrounded by a gaggle of gorgeous girls.

Upon realising photographers were waiting for him at the door, Leo pulled his blue baseball cap down over his eyes and had a friend hold a coat over him – but you’d hardly need to be Inspector Morse to realise it was him.

When Leo actually got into the car, he also kept his head down, while the group of women he was with all seemed in good spirits.

Leo had been spending the evening at Up and Down nightclub, in Manhattan, following his delivery of a rousing speech to the United Nations the day before.

Perhaps environmentally friendly Leo was just kindly offering a lift-share service to get these women home?

As part of his role of UN Messenger of the Peace – which he was granted in 2014 – the passionate environmentalist took to the public platform to call for radical action to be taken in the face of climate change.

Speaking to the assembled world representatives, the actor stated: “Our planet cannot be saved unless we leave fossil fuels in the ground where they belong.”

He continued: “Now is the time for bold, unprecedented action. My friends, look at the delegates around you, it is time to ask each other, which side of history will you be on?

“No more talk, no more excuses, no more 10-year studies.

“This is the body that can do what is needed, all of you sitting in this very hall.

“The world is now watching. You will either be lauded by future generations or vilified by them.”

Prior to partying, Leo made a moving appearance at the UN

The actor also drew on history to make the importance of his plea felt, and a quoted former President of the United States in doing so: “President Abraham Lincoln was also thinking of bold action 150 years ago when he said: ‘The dogmas of the quiet past are inadequate to the stormy present, as our case is new, so we must think anew and act anew. We must disenthrall ourselves and then we shall save our country’.

The Titanic star clarified his reference: “He was speaking in front of congress to discuss slavery.

Last week Leo was also spotted enjoying himself with rumoured former flame Rihanna at Coachella festival

“Everyone knew it had to end, but no one had the political will to stop it.

“Remarkably his words ring as true today when applied to the defining crisis of our time: climate change.'”

The past few days are a prime example of how Leo likes to both work and play hard, with the Academy Award-winner having been seen partying with rumoured former flame Rihanna at Coachella Festival, prior to addressing the UN, and then partying some more.
