Lauren Goodger splits from boyfriend Jake McLean AGAIN
Former Towie star has broken things off with Jake more than once before
LAUREN Goodger has split from her boyfriend Jake McLean once again.
A spokesperson for the former Towie star told the Sun Online: “We can confirm that Lauren and Jake have split up.”
They added: “The break was amicable and there was no-one else involved. Lauren is feeling positive and looking forward to the future.”
The news may not come as much as a surprise to the 29-year-old’s fans after she removed all traces of Jake from her Instagram account.
The beauty entrepreneur also failed to mention him on Twitter over the last month – concentrating instead on plugging her work-out DVD.
She also added fuel to the speculation, with an Instagram post with the following quote: “Stay exclusive. Don’t be everywhere. Don’t involve yourself with just anyone. Leave a little mystery to your life.”
Fans were quick to comment on the post, which she captioned: “You hardly see me anywhere.....”
One wrote: “Think she's broken up with Jake all pics gone.”
While someone else added: “Anyone else notice she deleted all pics of her bf?....”
The stunning reality star – who was previously engaged to Mark Wright – also hinted that she was happier without him in her column for new! Magazine this week.
Describing a night out without her man, she wrote: “Towie’s Liam Gatsby was there and so were some of Jake’s other mates but Jake didn’t come. I was like, “Yes, I can get as drunk as I want!” Ha ha!”
Lauren and Jake have had a tumultuous relationship since first getting together three years ago.
They split for the first time back in 2013, before reuniting after a two year hiatus.
Things seemed to be going well between them until they split again last October, just months after reuniting.
The break came as a surprise to fans as Lauren had cemented their romance by getting his name tattooed on her wrist – a seemingly big move after she previously had Mark Wright’s name removed by laser.
Speaking about the break at the time, she said: "Me and Jake aren't talking at the moment and haven't done for about a week now.
"He's not currently staying with me and I am focusing on my training, my career and myself.
"Sometimes you just need five minutes out, and I'm so busy right now that I haven't really had a chance to stop and give our situation any proper thought."
But once again they gave things another go and seemed to be back on track in recent months.
