Busted! Busty Susanna Reid mocked by Piers Morgan for leaving price tag on her shoe
Good Morning Britain presenter's shoes cost less than £50
SUSANNA Reid made sure all eyes were on her on Tuesday's Good Morning Britain - for more reasons than one.
The pretty brunette looked sensational in a colourful floral Ted Baker dress which hugged her curves, but viewers were just as distracted by a price sticker on the bottom of her shoe as they were by her busty display.
As ever it was left to outspoken co-host Piers Morgan to highlight the fashion faux pas as they settled on the sofa.
Grabbing her ankle and lifting her foot to the camera, he said: "I've had a blizzard of tweets that you're showing, apparently, a label on your foot."
Susanna was quick to apologise and whipped off the shoe before showing the sole to viewers, with the Marks and Spencer label clearly in view.
She said: "I left the label on my shoe, I can only apologise."
Snatching the shoe from the 45-year-old, Piers started to read what the label said, but was stopped in his tracks when he saw the price.
He said: "Oh my god, £49.50?! You can buy shoes that cheap?"
Susanna hit back: "We're not all paid as much as you Piers Morgan."
As the pair laughed about Susanna's faux pas, Piers added: "I'm gonna have to get you some shoes. Note to self, buy Susanna new shoes."
The 51-year-old didn't let the oversight go though, as during a chat about pink diamonds with Susanna and news presenter Charlotte Hawkins, he brought up his co-stars footwear once again.
He said: "It's a matter of taste. Diamonds are like champagne, it should never be pink. Diamonds should be massive and sparkly.
Holding up her ring-free hands, Susanna said: "Completely diamond free," to which Piers replied: "Yeah well no surprise."
Susanna continued: "And I'm a woman as you know of very cheap taste because you just pointed out that my shoes are."
Piers admitted he'd had some tweets telling him to stop going on about the price, as to some people, £50 is expensive.
Susanna added: "Or good value? For the type of shoes. You were saying you would buy me a pair of shoes."
Piers replied: "I feel like I ought to, there's something slightly slovenly about coming in with a pair of stickers on the bottom of your shoes.
"I'm getting lots of offers of free shoes for you."
Susanna was outraged by the suggestion, saying: "I don't need free shoes! I've got very good value shoes on, just the stickers on the bottom seem to have offended people."
Clearly enjoying mocking her, Piers said people were saying she had put the sticker on herself to "artificially inflate the value of your shoes."
Susanna replied: "What? Do they look cheaper than £50?"
