‘The only thing to do is take a selfie’: Lauren Goodger shares poorly but pouty snaps from her sickbed
The fully made-up former TOWIE star also managed an outfit change
WHEN you’re sick and lying in bed feeling pretty rotten, the last thing you want to do is share your snotty red face with the world – unless you’re Lauren Goodger of course.
The former TOWIE star is currently at home ill in bed and no doubt feeling rather sorry for herself.
So what’s a girl to do when she’s feeling rough and poorly? Put on some slap and share some selfies with the world of course!
Lauren, 29, took to her Instagram last night to share a collage of photos she had taken from her sickbed.
As she posted the images, she wrote: “When your unwell in bed and haven't moved all day the only thing 2 do is take a selfie or #hatersgonahate #tired #itchythroat .”
Many of her fans commented below her post offering their sympathies and remedies to cure her sore throat and itchy eyes.
But a lot of her followers were left unconvinced by her sickness, especially as she had on a full face of make-up and had managed to style her hair and change her outfit.
One commented: “Wish I looked like this when I was ill! Even putting make up on is impossible if I'm ill in bed!!”
And one other Instagram user added: “Had time to do your make up though *cough cough*”
Lauren wasn’t the only member of her family to be struck down as she posted a video of her kissing her little nephew Ted who was also poorly a few days ago and possibly passed his germs on to “Auntie LG”.
As she posted the video, Lauren wrote: “Love this kid when auntie LG comes to the rescue my poor Ted not well #love #nephew #family.”
Lauren might also be feeling a little bit heartbroken too after her relationship with Jake McLean ended last month.
No doubt she is reeling from the split but she admitted this week that he actually did her a favour.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, she said she didn’t think Jake would be the best person to be the father of any future kids she may have, and added: “I want to have children with a guy who’ll support me both financially and emotionally.
“I want my kids to be surrounded with security and love, and although I think Jake is capable of that, he's just not consistent."
