Saira Khan husband admits he was ‘fuming’ after Loose Women sex life confession

Ex Apprentice candidate told her hubby he could sleep with other women

SAIRA Khan's husband has admitted he was left "fuming" after the Loose Women star blabbed about their sex life on TV.
Former Apprentice candidate Saira caused a storm on Wednesday's show when she revealed she told husband Steven Hyde he could sleep with other women due to their lack of bedroom antics.

Saira said: "We used to have a fantastic sex life. I still love my husband, we cuddle up and it's lovely. We've been together for 11 years, but I'm not interested (in sex), I don't want to.
"I'm embarrassed to say this but I said to him you can go with someone else if you want.
"I want to make him happy. He'll kill me for saying this... Am I the only one?"
Now Steve has revealed how Saira desperately begged for his forgiveness after he was left "angry" and "embarrassed" by her confession.
Writing in The Mirror, he said: "Saira and I are a really private couple – well, we were until Wednesday lunchtime. Then I was sitting at my desk at work when a colleague sent me a website link.
"In minutes my face was all over the internet and my sex life was booming out from the radio.
"I was angry, embarrassed and immediately worried what my friends, business colleagues and most of all family were going to make of it all.

"I rang Saira and she babbled: 'I didn’t mean to say it. It just came out – I’m so, so, sorry.'
"By the time I arrived home, I was fuming and felt my private life was now available for all and sundry to have a laugh at.
"As I walked into the house, she said: “Are you alright?” My response was immediate: “No, I’m bloody not alright.
"What the hell were you thinking? What about the kids and the family? Did you think about any of that? But I could see she was totally devastated."
Steve calmed down after watching Saira's comments on Loose Women and has now lashed out at her critics.
He said: "It’s sad some have demonised Saira for this - we need to accept there are thousands of couples who are perfectly happily married with dormant sex lives.
"I love Saira and always will - and I’m proud she’s part of a show where women can talk to each other. Even if it did turn my world upside down for 48 hours."
Saira, meanwhile, has claimed her fear of getting intimate stems back to a battle with endometriosis, where pieces of the womb lining are found outside the womb, in 2007, and a traumatic miscarriage.
The star - who now has son Zac, seven, and adopted daughter Amara, five, with Steve - said: "I’m not ashamed to admit that for years, sex really has been the last thing on my mind.

"As every mum knows, the days rolled into one, the weekends flew by, suddenly another year would pass and I’d feel older and yet more exhausted.
"I have felt heartbroken at times because I love my husband with all my heart, he is my best friend, and the man I want to spend the rest of my life with.
"Our marriage is happy. He is the most amazing father to our children - I adore him and I don’t want to be with anyone else - but the pressure of letting him down night after night left me in despair."
Saira also admitted that her now infamous claim was never meant to be taken seriously.
She said: "I didn’t really mean it – of course I would have bloody minded if he’d slept with another woman."
Saira was moved to tears when Steve appeared on Loose Women on Friday to address her comments.
He said: "I felt heartbroken that she'd got to such a low point that she felt the need to say something.
"I would never ever contemplate being in that sort of relationship."
