Ferne McCann appears to have forgotten her trousers as she steps out to book signing in oversized shirt
Reality star is touring UK for release of her memoir as she prepares to leave Essex and head to Hollywood
FERNE McCann has been so busy rushing around on her book tour this week, it appears she forgot her trousers as she dropped into Liverpool!
The 26-year-old starlet turned up at a book signing wearing a thigh-skimming white shirt dress with plunging neckline and strappy, rainbow coloured heels.
She added a blue necklace to the kooky ensemble and fashioned her hair into braided plaits.
The reality star has been touring the UK to meet fans and sign copies of her new memoir, Cross My Heart.
It sees her open up about the ins-and-outs of her love life, including bedding lothario Russell Brand, her time in the I’m a Celebrity…Get me Out of Here jungle, and what goes on behind-the-scenes in Towie.
On her tryst with Russell, she wrote: “‘What did I learn? New words, a love of meditation and the Stone Roses.
“There is a lot more to Russell Brand than people think. And the realization that I was ready to do something different.”
In one section she admits her fascination with You Spin Me Round (Like a Record) hit-maker Pete Burns and insisted that her teacher call her Pete in an effort to be more like the glam 80’s rocker.
She writes: “I refused to answer to my name and would only respond if the science teacher would call me Pete Burns.
“I stuck to it all lesson and, in the end, she started calling me Pete.”
But the fashionista made sure that despite the tight schedule her look was always on point and even managed to fit in a quick wardrobe change between Liverpool and Manchester.
She turned up to the WH SMITH’s signing in a daring pink halter-neck and high-waisted white trousers, showing off her tonned and tanned tummy and floating wavy hair.
The star has just returned from the South of France after attending the Cannes Film Festival - where she managed to bag her first on-screen acting role in an upcoming film.
Speaking to Lorraine Kelly on her show on Tuesday, Ferne said: “I’ve always had a passion for acting and had a few meetings in Cannes and have been offered a film role, which is really exciting.”
She added: “I honestly feel the pressure and I feel, because I come from a reality background, you’ve got that stigma attached and everyone thinks you’re talentless.
She has already stretched her acting chops by performing in a musical adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby in April, and is now keen to take her career to the next level.
She is now reported to be playing opposite Suicide Squad beauty Margot Robbie in an as yet unnamed movie and will fly out to Los Angeles in July in order to film her part.
Cross my Heart is available in stores now.
