BGT facing fresh controversy after it emerges 100 Voices are ALREADY famous… and will perform gig in Brussels night before final
Britain's Got Talent embroiled in a new row we reveal the choir has won awards in the US, sold 200,000 records and are on tour
BRITAIN'S Got Talent has been dealt a devastating blow after it emerged 100 Voices of Gospel are already enjoying huge success around the world.
The controversial choir, which is through to the show's live final, is on tour and will perform in Belgium the night before the grand finale.
The Sun Online can reveal they have booked concert dates in Britain and tickets for their European shows are selling for more than £100 each.
They have also won a clutch of major awards in America and sold hundreds of thousands of records.
The choir, made up of singers from 20 nations, is one of the most popular acts on this year's series.
During the audition, they even won Alesha Dixon's golden buzzer for an automatic place in the live shows.
They were also given a standing ovation by the audience at the London Palladium.
However, we can now reveal they are already famous and have tour dates booked up until the middle of next year.
The Sun Online can also disclose 100 Voices boast of selling 200,000 records and winning trophies at America's biggest gospel music prizegiving.
They are believed to have scooped four prizes at the country's famous Gospel Music Association (GMA) Dove Awards.
The choir is also booked to perform a concert in Brussels on 27 May, the night before BGT's live final.
Their tour will keep them on the road for the next year, and includes two British concerts, in London and Birmingham, next April.
It also includes dates in Spain and France in December, and they will play in countries including Italy, Switzerland and Germany on the trek which ends in May 2017.
An insider has told The Sun Online that 100 Voices were cherry-picked by producers who are pushing for a choir to win.
The source said: "The talk backstage is that they are looking for a choir to win because a choir has never won it before..."
The insider insisted the show is not "fixed" but "manipulated" to push the preferred acts to succeed.
The source added: "It is not fixed, but it is manipulated. What the public sees and how it is, is quite different.
"It feels like they all know who is going to be in the semis before they have even performed... It is a bit of a farce."
The show has previously come under fire for featuring sword-swallower Alex Magala, who has previously starred on a number of other reality shows and even won Russia’s Got Talent.
He has been banned from performing his act live during Monday night's semi-final amid fears the dangerous stunt could go horribly wrong.
The controversial choir will be next be seen onscreen during the live final on ITV on Saturday.
