Channel 4’s Naked Attraction gets green light to start filming – because its glass pods are already Covid-19 friendly

WE’VE all been told to cover our faces with masks, but the folk at Channel 4 are doing the opposite and wearing nothing at all.

Their nude dating show, Naked Attraction, is going to be one of the first shows back filming, thanks to its Covid-19-friendly format.

Bosses have greenlit a new series to start in the next few weeks, hosted once again by Anna Richardson.

Producers on the show, which sees daters pick a new partner based purely on their naked bodies, think it’s easy to adhere to distancing rules due to the individual and easy-to-clean pods contestants stand in.

A source said: “Surprisingly Naked Attraction has a great Covid-19 format as standard.

“Despite the fact contestants have to stand in a studio with no clothes on, they actually reveal themselves from behind disinfected glass pods which can be wiped down afterwards.

“Singletons who’ve been chosen can go on a socially distanced date if need be.

Channel 4 has given the team the green light and new blood, as well as contestants who had already put their name forward, will be contacted to get the show made.”

"But the Save Me WhatsApp group is still very active and we’re all secretly thinking that we can do something else and just use the same actors, like an old rep theatre.”

From today Jason is hosting a podcast, More Than My Past, where he interviews people who have come through addiction or prison.
