PIERS Morgan sparked even more Ofcom complaints on his final day presenting Good Morning Britain before going on his lengthy summer break last week.
The 55-year-old star is no stranger to viewer outrage, and made sure that he went out on a scandalous high as he impersonated Prime Minister Boris Johnson and slammed Dominic Cummings on last Wednesday's [8th July] show.
The Sun Online can reveal that Piers received 23 official complaints to the TV watchdog for his final episode of the ITV breakfast show, with fans unhappy with his comments about the British government.
During a rant about NHS staff having to pay for hospital car parks despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, furious Piers mimicked the PM clapping for carers in previous months.
Grunting and shaking his head while mocking Boris' applause, Piers raged at the time: "This is how they reward them, isn't it extraordinary?
"'The first thing we're going to do is make you pay to park at hospitals again, make sure they have to pay for the privilege of parking at a hospital'.
"Total shambles."
In the same episode, he also slammed Boris' top aide Dominic Cummings, referring to him as a "rat faced weasel".
Piers has made no secret of his disdain for Cummings in recent months, after he was said to have broken lockdown rules when he drove 260 miles to Durham with his family, including his wife who had symptoms of the coronavirus.
After an investigation, Durham police ruled that the PM's chief advisor did not break coronavirus laws with the trip.

Piers' remarks shocked viewers at the time, with one tweeting: "Piers Morgan openly called Dominic Cummings a "rat, faced weasel."
"@GMB still wondering why Tory MPs won't appear on the show and the public don't take the media seriously. 🤦🏻♂️😂".
The TV presenter was recently branded a "hypocrite" by fans when he travelled to his holiday home following his break from GMB, documenting his flight overseas and luxurious holiday despite the worldwide health crisis.
Piers is due to return to our screens in September alongside co-host Susanna Reid, with Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway filling in in their absence.
