Jill Duggar skips dad’s 55th birthday bash to go on double date with rebel cousin Amy after break from family
JILL Duggar skipped her dad Jim Bob’s 55th birthday party with the family to go on a double date with her cousin Amy after she broke free from her conservative family.
On Saturday night, , 33, posted a photo alongside her husband Dylan on a double date with , 29, and her spouse, .
The couples were at Dylan’s restaurant Wellington’s in .
She captioned the photo: “Our new favorite word: Freedom!”
Amy then took another dig at their conservative family by posting on Twitter: “Remember: you can’t choose your family… but you can choose your therapist!”
Jill skipped her father’s 55th birthday party for the double date.
Her older brother Josh’s wife Anna, 32, posted photos from the bash.
She captioned a series of photos from the black and yellow-themed party: “Happy 55th Birthday, Pops! You are such a fun, patient and adventurous Grandpa! I love the excitement our children express whenever you’re around — you are one of their greatest heroes!
“Thanks for being such a great Dad, Father-in-love, Grandpa & friend! We love you SO MUCH!!!”

Jill has missed out on family gatherings amid the family feud.
Jill and Derick, who share sons Israel, 5, and Samuel, 3, were absent from Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations with her family.
