Kate Garraway’s son Billy ‘will have another birthday party when ill dad Derek Draper gets better’, GMB star says
KATE Garraway told Good Morning Britain viewers that her son Billy will have another birthday party once his seriously ill dad Derek Draper "gets better".
Billy, who turns 11 on July 28, had a bumper home birthday bash on Saturday with Myleene Klass and Roman Kemp attending.

The celebration proved emotional for the family as Derek remains in intensive care in hospital following his coronavirus battle.
Speaking this morning, Kate said: "It's like the Queen. Because of the situation with his dad being in hospital and all of the challenges we're facing with mixing at the moment, he’s (Billy) having four birthdays. The first one was with his friends on Saturday which was an absolute storm.
"Bill absolutely loved it, he was completely overwhelmed. He was emotional too of course.
"I said we’re going to do it all again when dad gets better."

Yesterday Kate thanked Myleene and Roman for making Billy's birthday special.
Friend Myleene, 42, arrived to help prepare the party alongside her other half Simon Motson and children Hero, Ava and Apollo.
Meanwhile, Kate's I'm A Celebrity campmate Roman came to lead the kids in an epic water fight in the back garden.

Sharing a video of radio star entertaining Billy and his friends, Kate wrote: "And what’s a #jungle camp without a surprise visit from an @imacelebrity star?!
"Cue @romankemp surprise arrival - who do you think is loving the #nerf war the most??!!!

"Thanks @romankemp you are a total star & great mate - so lovely to see you & your Dad @martinjkemp xxx"
She also explained how Myleene leapt into action to help make Billy's birthday the best ever.
"So I was super nervous about Bill’s birthday this year," she wrote. "We usually have a family do with grandparents & a few of his friends but obviously this not possible.
"So we are seeing grandparents separately but wanted to do something for him & his mates in the garden.

"Derek is so brilliant at this, organising treasure hunts & boys own adventures so mentioned to @myleeneklass really didn’t want to let Bill down & did she know anyone with a tent we could borrow in case it was wet. Little did I know what I was unleashing!
"She is in her element! At 8.30 this morning she arrived with Apollo in tow to supervise the brilliant @sleepyteepeeuk to set up the most amazing jungle camp ever!!!"
Kate added: "When Billy woke up he could not believe his eyes!!!! Thanks @sleepyteepeeuk & @myleeneklass and the fabulous @ariannemerry … feel so emotional but know Derek will be so proud and pleased. Can never thank you enough"

The jungle-camp-themed birthday included a huge tepee, with camp beds and netting inside.
They topped off the party with a birthday cake and cupcakes, with the candles lit by 14-year-old sister Darcey.
Meanwhile, Roman shared a photo of the party on his Instagram as he wished Billy a happy birthday.
He wrote: "So nice to see my amazing jungle mate @kategarraway for Bill’s birthday! Got back into my jungle kit for some camping and nerf wars (Kate did tell me I need to let the outfit go now…) ❤️ happy birthday bill!"

Kate returned to ITV last Monday after four months off while Derek was battling the virus.
