Jill Duggar’s husband Derick flouts family rules by drinking alcohol on couple’s double date with wild cousin Amy
JILL Duggar’s husband, Derick Dillard, is done with the family rules and drinking what he wants.
The alum flaunted his decision to consume alcohol during his and ’s double date with cousin , 33, and her husband Dillon King.
Jill, 29, not only with the family, but she did so in order to visit a whiskey and cigar lounge.
While the reality star, who , didn’t comment on what went on at Wellington’s, the restaurant lounge in Springdale, they dined at, her husband did.
Amy shared a photo of the foursome at the establishment, which her husband Dillon co-owns, along with the caption: “Our new favorite word: Freedom!”
commented on the post to let her know just how much he and his wife enjoyed themselves.
He wrote: “Thanks for treating us! We had a great time!
“Good food, drinks, and company (not necessarily in that order ;)”
The 3130 Clothing owner soon replied: “We had so much fun! Next time Brunch, drinks and the patio!”
One of Wellington’s main selling points is its craft cocktails and large selection of whiskeys.
After seeing Derick’s note, fans congratulated the “reformed Counting On cast member,” as he refers to himself as, on “drinking alcohol now.”
One excited follower wrote: “I just spit my drink out reading his comments.
“Jim bob must be shoooook. Good for you guys tho, everyone deserves happiness!”
Another wrote: “If JB is shook, then I’m here for it! I’m so proud of Derick and Jill for breaking out of that cult and the awful crap that she’s had to endure! SO PROUD!”
A third said: “Freedom from Jim Bob and I'm so happy tor you all.”
Derick and Jill after he was fired, and he’s had a strained relationship with the patriarch of the Duggar family, Jim Bob, ever since.
One of the main reasons, though, is because he claims JB withheld compensation from their appearances on the family’s reality show.

Jill and Derick got hitched in June 2014 after a three-month courtship, and they share two sons — Israel, 5, and Samuel, 3.
The couple continues to distance themselves most of their Duggar family relatives by skipping out on events and breaking rules, like and drinking alcohol.
