With grey London skies and drizzle hanging above them, it's no wonder they appeared a little down in the mouth.
Emerging from the studios, the girls were dressed for a standard British July day - in cosy trousers and thick sweatshirts.
Jade Thirlwall brought a splash of colour to the group thanks to her baby pink tracksuit and she was pictured wearing a face mask too.
Bandmate Jesy Nelson, meanwhile, was snapped as she waited on a concrete post for her taxi.

Jesy's frown reflected the majority of nation's right now, given the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and Government restrictions.

The summer song has been taken from their upcoming sixth studio album and the timing couldn't be more perfect.
Unveiling the song on Friday (July 24), the girls tweeted: "We're so proud of this one... hope it takes you all on a much needed getaway."
