Savannah Chrisley says ‘happiness was never about being in a relationship’ after calling off wedding to Nic Kerdiles
SAVANNAH Chrisley shared a cryptic post that read "happiness was never about being in a relationship" amid ending her engagement with her ex.
The star recently called off her wedding to Nic Kerdiles.
Savannah, 22, took to Instagram on Monday to share a quote on her Instagram stories where she seemingly dissed her old flame Nic, who in North Carolina.
The quote began: "You're going to realize it one day - that happiness was never about your job or your degree or being in a relationship.
"Happiness was never about following in the footsteps of all of those who came before you; it was never about being like the others.
"One day, you're going to see it - that happiness was always about the discovery, the hope, the listening to your heart and following it wherever it chose to go.
"Happiness was always about being kinder to yourself; it was always about embracing the person you were becoming.
"One day, you will understand that happiness was always about learning how to live with yourself, that your happiness was never in the hands of others.
"It was always about you," the quote concluded. "It was always about you."
Her cryptic post comes just one week after she revealed .
She shared on a post which read: “There’s power in the broken pieces. Your brokenness can become your breakthrough.”
She went on to share another quote, from a different Instagram account, that said everyone’s just trying to do “the best they can with what they have.”
Savannah and have been dating for three years, and he proposed to her in December 2018, after their first year together.
During a podcast episode for Chrisley Confessions in June, the 22-year-old revealed they’d both decided “things moved way too fast” and they were "taking steps back" in their relationship.
After being engaged for a year and a half and calling each other fiance and fiancee, they felt it was best to “go back to dating.”
The daughter of Georgia real estate tycoon Todd Chrisley and his wife Julie added: "It’s 2020 and you know what, it’s OK not to follow the guidelines and the whole timeframe that everyone follows.”
She told Entertainment Tonight that after learning she’d called after the wedding, which was supposed to take place over a three-day event they’d already planned.
Despite ending the engagement, Savannah’s still looking ahead and shared she’s .
According to the Chrisley Knows Best star, the show’s new season will feature her struggles with endometriosis and her doctor’s concerns about her possibly needing to have kids sooner rather than later.
She revealed: "I have a doctor telling me, 'Alright, you need to finish having kids by the time you're 30.'
“So I'm like, well if I want to have four kids I better start now, and so that's not happening.
"So we talk about my different options, like freezing eggs."

The 22-year-old called off the wedding after dating the hockey player for nearly two years.
She claimed the two are going to therapy individually to work on their relationship.
They were expected to walk down the aisle earlier in May.
