Geordie Shore’s Marnie Simpson thought Steph Davis’ pregnancy claims were FALSE
The brunette said she initially believed Steph was pretending and calls on alleged dad Jeremy McConnell to 'step up'
GEORDIE Shore's Marnie Simpson confessed she thought CBB babe Stephanie Davis' claims she was carrying Jeremy McConnell's baby were a complete LIE.
Yet the sexy brunette has now back-tracked on her initial scepticism though admitted the ex Hollyoaks star's confirmation she is expecting still messes up her head.
Marnie, who was approached by Steph's ex Jez shortly after they split, wrote: "I can't get my head around Steph Davis being pregnant
"I thought it was a lie!
"I wish her all the luck in the world.
"I hope it's not too hard and that she hasn't made a mistake."
The Sun Online exclusively revealed how actress Steph first claimed she was pregnant with the Mr Ireland finalist's child in a dramatic Instagram message earlier this month.
She made her comments alongside a snap posted on Jeremy's Instagram page - yet said she was "heartbroken" after he supposedly insisted he "won't be there" for her, just the little one.
Steph from her account stephaniedavis88 appeared to post: "Yeah I loved him unconditionally, after a week of hell and late phone calls and pain he's caused I still kept my phone so I could find him, find out I'm pregnant and he says he doesn't love me anymore and blocked.
"Heartbroken. Pain I can't understand or deal with. ... Is what im@foinf through now.
"Utter heart break. He never wanted a smaller in a broken home ... He won't be there only for the baby ... Not me.
"I'm@ledt with motoring/empty depair and truly empty.
"Pain I could never describe."
The TV beauty then embarked on a very public war of words with Dubliner Jez over social media sites Twitter and Instagram.
Steph also claimed that Jez is still messaging her - but repeated her allegations that he is refusing to be there for the child.
She wrote: "His baby and just going out all the time off his head. the messaging me when hes drunk #trulysorryforhim she must be a CRANK #desperates**g."
She threatened that she had the ability to "ruin" the reality star.
She told followers: "Please stop tagging me with him or I ruin him with messages I have got."
Meanwhile Jez has strongly disputed claims he is the baby's father.
Beauty Marnie - who recently came out as bisexual - said the CBB hunk DM’d her on Twitter after he had just broken up with Stephanie Davis.
In her latest column in Star Magazine she wrote: "Jez should step up, but I don't think he's prepared for this
"He's f**ked now - no girls going to go near him."
Speaking to the same publication Marnie, 24, said: "After they broke up, he DM'd me on Twitter with the rose emoji.
"He tried his luck, but I told him he was barking up the wrong tree!"

She added: "I feel bad for her. I think she's a nice girl and I thought Jeremy was a nice boy, but I feel he's proved everyone wrong."
Mum-to-be Steph and Jeremy met on Celebrity Big Brother at the start of this year – while she still had a boyfriend.
They embarked on whirlwind and highly tumultuous relationship which saw Jeremy cheating on her at least five times.
The actress announced she was pregnant just days after their last split.
