Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury shop for engagement rings as she insists she’s ok with his flirting with BFF Maura Higgins
MOLLY-MAE Hague has insisted she’s OK with watching Love Island repeats of boyfriend Tommy Fury and BFF Maura Higgins flirting.
The couple, who recently celebrated their one year anniversary, were spotted looking at engagement rings as they filmed new material for their top secret reality show.
Taking to her Instagram for a Q&A session, the 21-year-old let her fans ask her anything and revealed she was filming content for her and Tommy’s new “top secret” reality show.
The topic of Tommy and Maura's past connection on the 2019 series of Love Island also came up, with fans keen to know how the blonde beauty felt.
Making it clear she was fine with rewatching the scenes, Molly-Mae said it was because she and Maura “weren’t friends” at the time.
When the question about whether she had watched Tommy and Maura's Love Island antics, Molly smiled, rolled her eyes and explained: “You have to understand that it's really OK.
“When that Maura and Tommy situation happened in Love Island, me and Maura didn't even know each other then, we weren't even friends.
“It's a different story if it's your mate, Jesus that's a no go. It's really not deep, we weren't friends when it happened.”
She went on: “But no stress about that one but Tommy and Maura are like brother and sister now. I know it seems weird to some of you guys and I get that some of you find it weird, but for us three it's really not, we're best mates.”
Maura set her sights on Tommy before she entered the Love Island villa and made it obvious that she was attracted to him, despite him already being coupled up with Molly-Mae.
The Irish beauty announced the boxer gave her “fanny flutters” before she eventually coupled up with ex-beau Curtis Pritchard.
Molly and Tommy’s relationship has gone from strength to strength and the two were recently spotted looking at engagement rings as they filmed for their new top secret reality show.
Looking loved up, the couple were spotted looking at Steven Stone Jewellers, admiring the expensive rings through the shop window.
Walking around the streets of Hale, Cheshire accompanied by a film crew, the couple were stopped by fans and asked for photos.
Molly looked chic in white ripped jeans, white shoes and a brown jacket, while Tommy strangely opted for a huge Gucci puffer jacket despite the hot weather.
Molly recently revealed that cruel troll comments "don't get any easier" to take after she was branded fat on holiday.
The Love Island star was hurt after discovering online bullies had made nasty comments on pictures of her in a bikini.
She appeared on today's Loose Women with boyfriend Tommy Fury to discuss the impact it had on her.
