First Dates’ Fred Sirieix has £1million in CASH in the bank as he plans luxury wedding in Jamaica to fiancée Fruitcake
FIRST Dates' Fred Sirieix has close to £1million in cash in the bank, company documents reveal.
The rugged French maitre d', who is planning his wedding to fiancée 'Fruitcake', had a bumper 2019 financially.
His Art Of Service Ltd business posted accounts showing £863,531 in cash, more than double the previous year.
And he's due another £93,720 from debtors taking his balance to a very healthy total of £957,251.
Having worked in a series of world class restaurants, Fred shot to fame on Channel 4's First Dates as the maitre d' of a London eatery set up to help people find love.
He has starred in its spin-off show First Dates Hotel and in ITV's Gino, Gordon and Fred: Road Trip where he gets up to mischief abroad with chefs Gordon Ramsay and Gino D'Acampo.
And the BBC couldn't resist Fred with him presenting their Million Pound Menu and Remarkable Places To Eat.
The cash could come in very handy given he plans to tie the knot in Jamaica in front of celebrity pals like Gino D'Acampo.
He has lots of time to get the big day just right having recently revealed it has been postponed until 2022.
Fred spoke to Good Morning Britain presenters Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard about having to wait two years to wed his fiancée.
The 48-year-old told the presenters: "Well we are waiting to see when we can travel as it's important to have friends and family there.
"So we have to stay fluid here it's out of control but we are planning for early 2022 now."
Asked about his plans for Jamaica, he added: "It's going to be great. I can't wait, you know. It's going to be very exciting... We are looking very slowly at the venues. There is no rush."
Fred proposed to his girlfriend in lockdown at their home in Peckham, calling it "perfect".
He said: "The main thing the only thing is I did not get a ring but I've managed to do it now we are out of lockdown, and she is very happy, so all is well."
Fred is close pals with Italian chef Gino thanks to their travel show with Gordon Ramsay, and said he has been assured his stag party will be a civilised affair.
He told Ben and Kate: "Yes, listen it's going to be fun if Gino organises it it. It will be good fun, but I've been assured it's going to be very overboard!"
Fred announced his engagement back in March - and told The Sun his sex life has soared in lockdown.
