Vicky Pattison’s hunky best friend Alex Cannon set to bring the sex factor to the Big Brother house
The Judge Geordie star is set to get pulses racing this summer
Vicky Pattison’s rumoured on-off boyfriend Alex Cannon is getting ready to bring the sex factor to this year’s Big Brother house, the Sun can exclusively reveal.
Alex – who co-hosts Judge Geordie with the reality TV star – will enter the house this summer and hopes to get the female viewers’ vote with his stunning blue eyes and tanned and toned physique.
Vicky has always insisted they are just good friends, despite them holidaying and partying together all the time.
And Channel 5 bosses are hoping all will be revealed and the truth about how close they really are will emerge during his time in the house.
Speaking to the Sun Online, a show insider said: “Vicky’s one of the biggest stars on TV right now – and although she’s open and upfront about everything, her love-life is always a bit of a mystery.
“Bosses are throwing big money at Alex – it’s believed to be about a six figure sum – and it’s because they’re hoping he’ll spill the beans about the nature of their relationship.
“The chemistry between them on Judge Geordie was pretty obvious – and she’s always said he’s her ideal man.
“Him being on Celebrity Big Brother might finally bring their history – and future – in to the open.
It’s a shrewd move for Alex – it’s gonna take him from bit part on cult reality show in to the mainstream.
“He’s so handsome, bosses even think he could win in as fans vote to keep him in as resident eye-candy. “
And he has clearly had a taste for the celebrity life hanging out with Vicky and co-hosting the MTV show with her, so could be hoping BB will massively boost his public profile.
Alex, 26, who hails from Liverpool, is Vicky’s sidekick on the show which sees the pair settling feuds between friends, couples and family members.
His nicknames are ‘Cannon’ and ‘Nasty Nick’ – a name not heard in the Big Brother house since the very first series back in 2000.
And he could prove to be a popular housemate after he once said people would describe him as “having a good sense of humour, loyal as a dog and up for anything”.
