EastEnders star Linda Henry shows off her enviable figure in glamorous tight dress at Amy Child’s fashion bash
The normally hard faced Shirley looks virtually unrecognisable as she steps out in style
EASTENDERS star Linda Henry turned heads last night as she stepped out to support Amy Child's fashion bash.
Onlookers were shocked to see the actress, who plays hard faced Shirley Carter on the hit soap, looking a million miles away from her Albert Square character.
Wearing a tight monochrome mini-dress, the outfit showed off her slim figure.
She completed the look with shimmer tights and a pair of black heels and a pair of black-rimmed glasses.
The outfit is a far cry from Walford’s Shirley.
In EastEnders, her character normally goes for the scruffy and casual look.
In a complete role reversal, Linda, 53, looked glamourous and stylish, and showed off her gym-honed body.
Linda was attending Amy Childs' fashion parade at Beach Blanket Babylon in London's Notting Hill.
She was joined by husband Stavros Virilis, who she tied the knot with in 1992.
Last night’s look was also very different to the character she played in Bad Girls.
Linda played villain Yvonne Atkins in the hit ITV show for nearly four years.

Meanwhile, back in Walford and there have been lots of EastEnders spoilers this week.
Soap star Richard Blackwood has revealed that his character Vincent Hubbard will have to keep his wits about him from now on, especially when it comes to his murderous mum Claudette.
He is still reeling from the revelation that she killed his dad and for years lied that Eric Mitchell was the one responsible.
After his attempt to then bump her off failed, she has remained a shadowy presence in his life.
Lamenting over the gangster’s current situation, he told The Sun Online: “Without giving too much away, he has choices to make.
“Vincent never has a clear run. All he wants to do is have a good family, be a provider, run the Albert and have a peaceful, non-drama life and it can’t go that way.”
The 44-year-old continued: “He’s wrestling a lot of darkness himself, but he gets tested and you will see he gets tested.”
As for the case of Claudette, he explains: “You have got to remember Claudette killed his dad, pushed him over a balcony, buried him and then kept it a secret for all of Vincent’s life.
“Then when she told him, she had no remorse – he should be scared.”
Agreeing with him is actress Ellen Thomas, 52, who plays his sinister on-screen ma.
She teased: “Revenge is best served cold.”
EastEnders airs weeknights on BBC One.
