Marnie Simpson engaged to boyfriend Casey Johnson after he proposes on romantic date night

MARNIE Simpson is engaged after boyfriend Casey Johnson got down on one knee.

The Geordie Shore favourite and former Union J singer, who share a 10-month-old son called Rox, revealed the news on Instagram tonight.

It came after they headed off on a date night together where he proposed after taking her to an orchard decorated with fairy lights.

She cooed: "Oooh, I feel like I'm in Narnia" in an Instagram video in the idyllic setting before he popped the question off-camera.

Marnie, 28, posted with the ring on her finger writing: "And just like that I’m now a fiancé, and I’m marrying the man of my dreams, how did I get so lucky ♥️."

Casey, 25, shared the same shot writing: "OMG SHE SAID YES!!! ❤️💍."

The pair were besieged with congratulations from their celebs pals, with everyone from Kim Woodburn to Frankie Essex pitching in.

Bianca Gascoigne wrote: "Couldn’t be more happier for you such a gorgeous couple/family!! And deserve the world 🌍 xxx."

Casey has been dating Marnie since the end of June 2017 after they starred together on reality show Single AF.

In April 2019 they announced they were having a baby - sharing a sweet snap of themselves kissing beside the Eiffel Tower. Rox was born in October that year.
