Stacey Solomon says she’s ‘exhausted and riddled with mum guilt’ and hasn’t slept in since having son Zach 12 years ago
STACEY Solomon has admitted she's feeling 'exhausted and riddled with mum guilt' in a very open and honest social media post.
Taking to her Instagram Story on Wednesday morning, Stacey reached out to her 3.7 million followers and got rather frank about parenting.
The Loose Women panellist began: "Good morning, the house is asleep but the wind is howling so I’m up watching the clouds…
"I don’t know why every noise wakes me up but ever since having Zach 12 years ago I’m up at the drop of a pin. I’ve 100% lost the ability to lay in…
"Every morning that I’m up before the pickles and I say good morning and ask how you are. I lay here and read through your morning messages. I try to reply to as many as I can but I can never get through them all…"
The 30-year-old continued: "So this morning I just wanted to let you know that most of us all feel exactly the same… A little exhausted, riddled with mum guilt.
"Not feeling good enough? Wondering if we’re making everyone happy? And thinking how will I get through another day on little to no sleep?
"Let me tell you this. You are a fantastic parent. And an amazing person. You are everything your child needs and more. You are doing MORE than enough."
Stacey then added: "Just your love alone is more than you’ll ever know. The very fact that you question wether you’re a good person or good parent make you all of those things (sic).
"You will get through today just like you did yesterday and the day before that because you are incredible, don’t ever forget it."
The mum-of-three finished with: "Keep going, because without even realising, you’re smashing it, I promise."
Stacey's post comes amid rumours that she and her boyfriend Joe Swash are trying for a baby girl.
Rex is Stacey's only child with Joe, who also has another son of his own called Harry, 13.
Despite an already large family, there are rumours Stacey and Joe are currently trying for a daughter to add to their brood.
Discussing having a daughter in a recent interview with OK! mag, Joe said: "I think that would be the biggest temptation for Stacey and I.

"Not that having another boy would be bad, because we just love kids and love to add to our family.
"But if we do, it would have to be just one more time, otherwise we'll be like The Brady Bunch with kids coming out of our ears!"
