Katy Perry gave fans clues she was calling her baby with Orlando Bloom Daisy three months ago
KATY Perry has welcomed her first child, daughter Daisy Dove, with fiancé Orlando Bloom.
And while some fans were surprised at Katy's name choice, the singer has been dropping subtle "Daisy" clues for months leading up to her due date.
The 35-year-old dropped the tune in May - three months before - and has been leaving daisy-themed hints all over her social media ever since.
Katy said the song symbolizes "strength and resilience" for her and "going for your dreams".
She wrote on Instagram: “I wrote this song a couple months ago as a call to remain true to the course you’ve set for yourself, regardless of what others may think."
"DAISIES is out now. I hope it will be the soundtrack to going for your dreams now… especially the ones we left behind.”
Katy dropped a major baby name hint on May 6, when she released daisy-motif sandals from her shoe-wear collection, with profits going to a charity helping babies and children affected by the pandemic.
