THE final of The Voice Kids 2020 saw four talented kids battle it out last night to be crowned this year's winner.

Each finalist took to the stage and performed in front of a live audience and the coaches but it was Justine Afante who went home victorious with a bursary and VIP holiday.

It was Justine who was ultimately crowned the winner after the virtual audience cast their votes.

Justine kicked off the show singing Listen by Beyoncé, which was chosen by her mentor Pixie Lott.

Who is Justine Afante?

The 13-year-old contestant started the series as a nervous girl who struggled with performing.

Justine won a spot in the grand final with her performance of 'One Moment In Time' in the semi-finals.

Her parents told ITV that from as early as they can remember, their daughter has loved to sing.

"Justine sings all the time even in the bathroom whenever she is taking a shower," said mum Renea Afante.

"Sometimes I have to say to her: 'Lower it down because the neighbours will hear you' or 'It's too loud' - and sometimes I have to say: 'Stop it, you have to rest'."

Where is Justine Afante from?

The teen hails from Swansea, though her family are originally from the Philippines.

Why did she choose Pixie Lott as her mentor?

Justine chose Pixie Lott as her mentor after an agonising decision between coaches Will.i.am, Danny Jones and Paloma Faith.

She described working with Pixie as "absolutely amazing."

"She has won multiple times and she has the closest vocal type to me," she said.

"I've never really experienced anything like this and so it's the first big thing that I've ever done - and it's just been amazing.

"It's been a rollercoaster of emotions and I'm just so grateful that I'm one of those people who got to experience it."

Justine also said being on 'The Voice Kids UK' has given her a "new ambition."

She said: "I want to do more singing and probably make a career out of it.

"But I think singing in 'The Voice Kids UK' has been a dream come true - and I don't want it to stop."
