‘I’m so nervous!’ Towie’s Ferne McCann reveals she’s doing a sky dive LIVE on This Morning tomorrow
The former TOWIE star is set to take to the sky to celebrate the Queen's birthday
FERNE McCann has revealed she’s a nervous wreck ahead of her live sky dive on This Morning tomorrow.
The former TOWIE star is jumping out of a plane to celebrate the Queen’s birthday.
Speaking during her showbiz segment, Ferne was shaking as she revealed to hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield how nervous she is.
She said: “I’m jumping out of a plane tomorrow all to celebrate the Queen’s official birthday.
“We’re celebrating it in the best way possible with the Red Devils who will be jumping 13,000 feet in the air with me.”
Phillip interjected: “The most important thing is they’re used to it but you’re not…but you will love it.”
Ferne added: “I’ve never done a sky dive before and now I’m doing one live on the show.
“I’ve been a bit all over the place this morning because I’m thinking about it, I’m shaking now just talking about it.”
Phillip tried to reassure her by telling her how much he loved doing a sky dive.
He said: “I did one with the Red Devils and as I landed on the ground, a wing commander walked up to me, looked at me as I was still sitting on the ground and he said to me: ‘Now you know why the birds sing’ and then walked off.
“But I do know why the birds sing.”
However, it didn’t work as Ferne said: “I’m actually really emotional” and Holly said: “I can see your eyes welling up.”
Holly tried to comfort her by saying: “I’ve done it, you’ll be fine. It’s the nearest thing to flying you’ll ever get.”
Ferne said: “I’m talking about it and I’m regretting it but it’s all for the Queen’s birthday and I think it will be amazing.”
Phillip joked: “I’m sure she’ll appreciate you doing it.”
While they couldn’t contain their giggles yesterday, Holly and Phillip were left speechless today when they had extra time to fill before an ad break.
The pair looked blankly at the camera before filling viewers in on what was to come on the rest of the show.
They stammered as they said: “Ugh we’ve got a bit of a counting issue…some extra time” before they finally cut to the weather.
This Morning airs weekdays on ITV from 10.30am.
