Hollyoaks star Anna Passey hits back at vile abuse from cruel Twitter trolls
Her castmates join her in taking down the people responsible for taunting the actress on social media
HOLLYOAKS star Anna Passey has hit back after being targeted by vicious Twitter trolls.
The actress suffered a barrage of abuse from cruel tweets, but has responded by posting a picture of herself extending her middle finger with the caption: “Well here are my thoughts.”
The 31-year-old, who plays Sienna Blake in the hit soap, posted the tweet on her account after she received cruel comments and her weight and appearance.
The main offender was someone who went by the name of @antiannapassey - their account has since been suspended.
To hit back at her attackers, she posted a series of pictures of herself eating an ice cream, showing she didn’t care about the trolls
The last picture was of her giving the naughty salute.
Anna isn’t the only one to respond to the trolls on her behalf.
Her Hollyoaks co-stars have also leapt to her deference and slammed those responsible for the abuse.
Tamara Wall who plays Grace Black in the soap said: “You absolutely disgust me @antiannapassey you must have a very boring life indeed to have time to be so vile to such a beautiful girl!!!”
And their co-star Ashley Taylor Dawson who plays Darren Osborne said: “I have just been made aware of this disgusting effort of a human@antiannapassey getting off on trolling @MissPassey.”

Meanwhile Anna isn’t the only star to be targeted by cruel trolls
Former X Factor judge Cheryl Cole suffered abuse from angry One Direction fans when it was revealed she was dating Liam Payne.
But the 32-year-old singer also hit back at the trolls by updating her Instagram bio targeting all the "Cheriam" haters.
She wrote: "When people hate on you, it's because you've got something they want .. All love. Good vibes only."
But she quickly had a change of heart and deleted the message to leave just "All Love. Good vibes only".
Cheryl also responded to 1D fans ordering her to treat Liam well.
She replied to one by saying: "I promise you. Wow, that made me emotional."
Fans also slammed her on social media after he changed his Instagram profile picture to a black and white image of him topless in bed, with the former Girls Aloud singer next to him.
One fan wrote: "F*** off Cheryl. You can have any man in the world. Step the f*** away from my Liam or we going to have problems."
A clearly heartbroken 1D fan said:: "Please, don't ever hurt Liam, 'cause he has a big heart, you're so lucky to have him in your life."
But another ranted: "'REPULSIVE W***E. FROM ONE BED STRAIGHT TO THE NEXT."
Katie Price has also hit back at trolls who have targeted her disabled son Harvey.
The 14-year-old was born with septo-optic dysplasia and is visually impaired.
Evil social media users have tweeted cruel pictures of Harvey and made nasty comments about him.
Katie told The Sun: “I’ll name and shame them all. I’m not going to stop on this now — I’m on a mission. If I can help others in any way, I will. “
