The Bachelorette’s Rachel Lindsay says Becca Kufrin is doing ‘great’ after splitting with fiancé Garrett Yrigoyen
THE Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay has praised pal Becca Kufrin for "starting over" after a split from fiance Garrett Yrigoyen.
Rachel, who was the bachelorette in 2017, told People magazine that Becca is "doing great" and "really just taking this time right now to center herself."
Becca confirmed her split from Garrett, who proposed to her at the finale of , on podcast The Bachelor Happy Hour, telling fans: "I don’t think it’s going to come as a shock to anyone, but Garrett and I have decided to end our engagement"
Now, Rachel has shared that under the circumstances.
She said: "There's no denying that it's hard when you dedicate two years of your life to someone and think you're going to spend forever with them and it doesn't work out, but I think she's doing the best that she can be."
The pair called it quits after two years together, reportedly because of Garrett's controversial comments on social media about cops amid the protests.
In mid-August, an insder told E! News: "Becca is still very upset with Garrett's comments and the controversy surrounding it.
"Their lifestyles don't mesh anymore. Garrett wants different things and they came to a realization that they aren't compatible anymore."

Amid the ongoing protests throughout the country, Becca spoke up for her support for the BLM movement, while Garrett voiced his appreciating for the "thin blue line."
The California native was slammed by fans and fellow stars of the Bachelor franchise after he stood up for law enforcement on Instagram.
Becca addressed the backlash regarding Garrett's post during a June 9 episode of her Happy Hour podcast.
She said: “Garrett is my fiancé and I love him and to his core, I believe that he is a good person. What he posted … I don’t align with and I don’t agree with.”
One week later, she addressed the split rumors.

She said during the June 16 episode: “For those who are curious about my relationship with Garrett at this point, all I can say right now is I don’t know.
“I can’t give anything more than that.
"It’s something that we are trying to work through and discuss and do work on at home at this time and that’s where the work will remain and that’s really the best can give you at this point.”
