Dog The Bounty Hunter’s Rainy Robinson separating from costar husband David of 25 years following ‘irrevocable actions’
DOG The Bounty Hunter cast member Rainy Robinson has announced the end of her 25 year marriage - accusing husband David of "taking some heartbreaking and irrevocable actions," The Sun can exclusively reveal.
Rainy and David, who are both bounty hunters and stars of have been together for a total of 27 years and have two daughters together.
A source told The Sun: "Rainy and David have been on the show for years - every one is shocked they have split.
"Rainy is obviously heartbroken but she is strong and she's surrounded by her daughters and grandchildren."
Rainy, who was Dog's late wife Beth Chapman's best friend, made the announcement on Facebook, writing: "After nearly 25 years of marriage (9/30/95) and 27 year together, David and I are separating.
"We have had many years of happy times, fun parties, television, businesses, tears and triumphs.
"We share two beautiful daughters and three adorable grand-daughters. Marriage is difficult and in some cases does not always last; we had a great run and I am proud of the time we’ve spent building a life. We are family and will always love each other as such."
She added: "Sadly, some very heartbreaking and irrevocable actions were taken which resulted in the end of our marriage. I don’t wish to expand any further as this has been a trying few months and I am now focused on my own path toward healing."
Rainy also posted a picture of she and David on their wedding day and urged friends not to feel like they had to "pick a side" and that they could remain friends with them both.
to say she was 100 percent behind Dog’s relationship with fiance Francie Frane.
“I saw Dog go through a lot of stuff for the last two years – it was very difficult,” she said.
“He walked Beth right to the edge of life and did everything he was supposed to do…
“So when he told me about Francie and how their paths crossed – I started looking into her and I thought ‘wow she’s not too bad at all.'
“Then I spoke to her and the first thing she said to me was ‘I will always treat these kids with respect and honor and I will always honor their mother.’
“Then she told me that she wants to help me with the scholarship program I set up as a memorial for Beth, which was really nice.
“I spoke to Dog and I have never heard him this happy, he was crying happy. Then I spoke to her and she was the same crying about how much she cares about him.

“I think she is somebody that Beth would have picked. I’m happy because he deserves to be loved and I want him to spend the remainder of his life happy.”
