FURIOUS Sam Thompson dumped Zara McDermott after finding out she'd cheated with music boss Brahim Fouradi.
The Made In Chelsea star ended their 16-month relationship after getting wind of what happened during her time on X Factor: Celebrity, The Sun can reveal.
A source close to Zara explained: "Sam suspected quite early on that something was going on between Zara and Brahim, and there was a big confrontation.
"She was spending increasing amounts of time with him backstage, and hanging around after hours.
"Sam found out and kicked off. He's devastated about how things have turned out."
The pair met thanks to his job working on the show as an A&R director for Syco - but he has since left the company and is now understood to be living in Holland.
Love Island beauty Zara, 23, and reality star Sam's split shocked fans when it was revealed yesterday.
The break-up saw her booted out of the 28-year-old's home near Chelsea, with the star moving back in with her parents in Essex.
The revelation comes just days after Sam's sister Louise posted a cryptic tweet about cheaters.
She wrote: "Cheaters always want you to be loyal while they're being unfaithful."
Sam had been hoping to marry Zara little more than a year after they started dating.
Told by Celebs Go Dating's Paul Brunson: "You need to propose by the end of the year", he insisted: "I actually will."
Zara appeared on X Factor: Celebrity last year appearing alongside Eyal Booker, Samira Mighty and West Nelson in group No Love Lost.
