‘Do you think I’m going to rise to it?’ Big Brother’s Sam Giffen shrugs off Ryan Ruckledge’s catty comments as they come face-to face in the main house
It’s all about to kick off between the two arch-rivals
ARCH-RIVALS Sam Giffen and Ryan Ruckledge came face-to-face in the Big Brother house tonight – and it didn’t take long before the catty comments began.
Ryan, along with fellow ‘Other’ housemate Andrew Tate, were chosen by the viewing public to leave the second house and enter the main one.
As they joined host Emma Willis on the stage outside, she specifically told both of them that they must not let on that they have been watching from the other house, to act like brand new housemates who have been in hiding all week and to act like they have never met each other.
After she struggled to get Ryan’s attention – he was too busy looking around at the crowd outside the house – she said: “You need to have your game face on,” and pointing at Ryan, she added: “Can you do it with Sam?”
Ryan protested, “But I already know him from the outside,” to which Emma, who was looking rather exasperated at this point, said: “But you don’t know he’s in there!”
Ryan then said, “I’ve got enough s*** on him without having to make up stuff!”
But they blew their cover within seconds of entering the house – and Ryan couldn’t contain himself as he came face to face with Sam – who looked stunned to see him walk in.
As he walked down the stairs, he said to Sam, “What are you in here for?” to which Sam said, “Why are you showing off already?”

Ryan then said hello and introduced himself to the other housemates as Sam stood behind and muttered, “This is embarrassing.”
Ryan then made his way over to Sam, looked him up and down and said: “How have you actually got in here, you’ve got as much banter as f*****g brick!”
As everyone stood around looking awkward and stunned, Sam said: “Do you really think I’m going to rise to it, f**k off? I’m actually p*****g myself because you’re already acting up in front of the cameras.”
Then Ryan squared up to him and said, “So what? I’m an attention-seeker, I’ll admit that, I’m not a***d,” to which Sam said, “Alright, calm down love, f*****g hell.”
And fans took to Twitter to express their thoughts on the awkward meeting with one tweeting: “Tomorrow’s show is going to be amazing. I can’t wait to see what happens between Ryan and Sam!”
And another added: “This is going to end up in carnage. Lord of the Flies on acid kind of carnage.”
