STRICTLY fans were driven wild by Bruno Tonioli's new "silver fox" grey hair and VERY deep tan on Good Morning Britain earlier today.

Bruno spoke to Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid on the ITV breakfast show - with cheeky Piers telling viewers Bruno had taken inspiration from Phillip Schofield.

The judge, 64, said he transformed his Italian brown locks by allowing his natural grey hair grow when he was caught in lockdown in Los Angeles.

Speaking via video link form LA, he said: "I got here just before all of this madness happened, and I was thinking about for a long time, you basically need to shave your head and start again.

"And I said, 'This is the time'. It's kind of liberating, and I'm happy people like it. It's so much easier."

Fans took notice as one said on Twitter: "Breaking #Strictly news from @GMB: Bruno is now silver."

Another commented on his tan, writing: "We can all agree that Bruno is a Strange Colour!!"

Meanwhile Bruno said he won't physically be able to make it to the BBC One dancing competition as travel restrictions have left him stranded in Los Angeles.

Bruno has confirmed he will play a part in the newest series, but he won't "interfere" with the judging as it "wouldn't be right".

The judge said: "I will watch the show and will do a little segment, like the results show.

"It wouldn’t be right for me to interfere with the judging process because it’s not fair.

"Craig [Revel-Horwood], Shirley [Ballas], Motsi [Mabuse] know exactly what they’re doing. What I will do is my point of view, pointing out this and that - and I’m glad I am able to do it."

Piers and Susanna asked if there was any advice for their GMB co-presenter Ranvir Singh, who is on this year's lineup.

Bruno simply replied: "Watch out for Craig."

The Sun revealed in August that he will appear via video-link only for the Sunday night results show.

BBC bosses have confirmed that the flamboyant Italian will only feature in person for the tail-end of the series because of a clash with Dancing With The Stars in America.

He hopes to make at least the final four episodes – including the final and the semi final – if coronavirus travel restrictions allow him.

But if he is forced to quarantine on his return to the UK, then he will only make the last two.

It comes after the long-serving judge – who has spent the last 15 years commuting between homes in Los Angeles and London to appear on Strictly – told The Sun it would be “impossible” for him to take part, giving Cheryl Tweedy his blessing to replace him.
