Max George says an emotional goodbye to his girlfriend Stacey Giggs ahead of quarantining with Strictly
MAX George said an emotional goodbye to his girlfriend Stacey Giggs ahead of his quarantining for Strictly Come Dancing.
The Wanted star, 32, will be separated from his girlfriend while filming the BBC One dancing show in order to keep the cast and crew safe.
In an emotional Instagram message, shared a photo of him holding Stacey's hand while in bed.
The star captioned the photo: "Last night with my ❤️ for a while."
Stacey is the ex-wife of footballer Ryan Giggs and got with Max in April 2019.
Max was introduced to the former Wag at the John Gilbert pub, in Worsley, near Manchester, in 2018 by mutual pals.
They had met once before, backstage at V Festival in 2011, where Max was performing with The Wanted when Stacey was married Ryan and the boyband star was dating Michelle Keegan.
Max now plays stepdad to Stacey’s two kids Libby, 17, and Zach, 13.
However, Max's ex-girlfriend Carrie Baker warned Stacey that Max could fall for the dreaded Strictly curse earlier this week.
The model, who was in a five-year relationship with the pop hunk, revealed how Max revelled in the attention of other women including pop queen Jennifer Lopez and UK beauty Amy Willerton.
Carrie told The Sun: “I wouldn’t like to be in her shoes. Everyone knows what Strictly is like — and I know what Max is like. He’s a serial flirter.
“I thought I was going to marry him and have his children.
“I’ve never been in love like that and it broke my heart when he left.
“He handled it all wrong and people need to know the truth.”
She claimed he would down 16 pints a night and regretted getting engaged to actress Michelle Keegan because he was drunk when he popped the question.
And she said Max claimed the Our Girl star was still with him when she fell for her now-husband Mark Wright.
Max got Carrie pregnant but she miscarried. Soon after dumping her, he moved in with new love Stacey.
