KATIE Price's mucky mansion went up in flames last night as firefighters tackled a blaze at her "cursed" home.
Neighbours were convinced her house in West Sussex was burning down and firefighters rushed to the scene with blue lights flashing and sirens wailing.
The side of the £2 million house appeared to go up in flames after a caretaker built a bonfire right next to the side of her home.
However, the damage has now been cleared up and Katie is focused on her new life with boyfriend Carl Woods in Essex.
A source exclusively tells The Sun Online: "Katie was horrified when she was called about the fire - apparently the caretaker built a huge fire right next to the house, and when it went up the side of the house was covered in flames.
"It was a huge fire - a neighbour called the fire brigade thinking the house was burning down.
"It was put out in the end but you could see the smoke billowing across the road. She says the house is cursed.
"However, she's focused on her new life living with Carl now and there's so many good things going on in her life she's firmly focused on the future."
Katie's representative told The Sun Online: "I can confirm there was a fire on the grounds but no serious damage to the building.
"Eyewitnesses reported to the emergency services that the the house was on fire but thankfully it was brought safely under control before any serious damage was done to the building."
Katie, who was once worth an estimated £40million, bought the 11-bedroom pile pile from former Tory minister Francis Maude in 2014.
She cleared out of the place permanently in June - vowing never to live there again after giving one last farewell tour to fans.
The star has since started a new chapter in her life with 31-year-old former Love Islander Carl - with the pair even revealing they are going to begin trying for a baby.
Holding up the ovulation kit she bought to get them started, he told her: "I'm glad that you got it. It's actually kind of cute that you got it."

The extent of the mess at Katie's mansion was kept away from cameras for years - until she agreed for the house to appear on Through The Keyhole.
Viewers were shocked when the show's host Keith Lemon visited, pointing out everything from the piles of horse poo on the drive to the green scum on the pool.
Since then, cleaning the place up has been a struggle for the star, with hair-raising clutter and piles of rubbish spied both inside and outside the home.
